You can't be friends with those who broke your heart, ruined your life, took
advantage of your love, kindness, and forgiveness. They don't deserve access to
your world anymore - not your time, not your thoughts, not even the smallest
corner of your heart. There comes a point when you must choose your peace over
history, your healing over familiarity. It doesn't matter how long you've known
them, how many memories you shared, or how deeply you once cared. What
matters is how they made you feel, how they tore through your spirit, and how
they left you to pick up the shattered pieces alone.
