Do you want my grief,

Get the flashbacks, the heart stopping pangs,

The helplessness from losing my way,

Can you feel my grief,

Can you hear it bellow while it takes your peace,

Your body aches, your mind stands still,

You live in the past, where things were real,

Help me friend,

Take this grief,

So I can pretend my child's not dead.

So the church leaders will look with suspicion on 

the victim, seeing her as hysterical or maybe even

lying. They will listen to the abuser's story and 

believe and validate his defense. After all, he seems

so calm and logical and wounded by her

accusations. They'll feel bad for him, pray for him,

offer him free counseling to help with some of his

"minor issues that really aren't that big of a deal

and are only exacerbated by his unsubmissive,

angry, bitter wife." They will praise his efforts to

apologize and change.

Perfect woman

Even the moon is not perfect,

And the sea?

It's too salty and dark in the depths.

The sky?

Always so infinite, that is, the most beautiful things are not perfect, they are special.
