"How much do you love him?"

I loved him enough to see his worst mistake...and

still choose to stay.

Enough to silence my own pain just to keep the

peace between us.

I gave him chances not because he deserved 

them--

but because my heart believed in who he "could"

be, more than who he showed himself to be.

I stayed, even with the quiet fear that he might

hurt me again.

Not out of weakness...

but out of a love so deep, it forgot to protect me 

first.
