Not better

He Chose Her. 

And She Was Not Better.

that is the part nobody prepares for you. you look

at her and you try to find the reason. you try to

understand what she has that you did not. and the

answer is nothing. she is not smarter. she is not 

kinder. she is not more deserving of him. he did n

not leave you for someone better. he left you for

someone different. someone new. someone who

had not yet seen the parts of him you had already

learned to navigate. his choice was not a reflection

of your value. it was a reflection of his own

limitations. and one day you will be grateful he

made it. because you deserved someone who

chose you without needing a replacement first.
