From Alyssa Rhoda
Marriage isn't ruined because it's hard right now.
It's not broken just because you're tired, hurt,
disconnected or discouraged.
Every marriage has a season that feels heavy.
Seasons where communication is off. Seasons
where love feels quiet. Seasons where you wonder
if this is just how it's always going to be.
But feelings are loud liars when they're hurting.
A bad week doesn't erase years of history.
A rough season doesn't cancel a lifetime of vows.
And a moment of emotion shouldn't be the thing
that decides a permanent ending.
Pause before you quit.
Breathe before you decide.
Give your marriage the grace to grow instead of
the pressure to be perfect.
Some of the strongest marriages weren't the ones
that never struggled.
They were the ones that didn't walk away while
the storm was passing.
If you're in a hard season, this is your reminder:
don't let a temporary feeling write the last chapter.
A bad season doesn't mean
a bad marriage. Don't let
a temporary feeling write
a permanent ending.
