Recovery

(This feels cut off from something else, but not sure what)

And because it feels productive (relatable?) we convince ourselves we're doing the necessary recovery work.

But there's a difference between understanding yourself and endlessly trying to think your way into feeling better.

Not every anxious thought deserves a reaction from you. Not every uncomfortable feeling requires an explanation. And not every uncertainty needs to be resolved.

Sometimes recovery begins when you recognize the urge to figure everything out and gently choose not to participate in that familiar pattern.

You allow the thought to be there, stop demanding certainty, and return to the life happening right in front of you.

The goal isn't to have fewer anxious thoughts it's to become less affected by the ones that appear.
