Never failed

 You worry so much

for someone who God

has never failed.

You cry over things that have not even happened yet. You lie

awake wondering how you will make it through, how everything

will work out, and whether the life you prayed for will ever come.

And sometimes, in the middle of all that fear, you forget how

many times God has already carried you through the very

things you thought would destroy you.

Think about all the nights you thought you would not make it. All

the prayers you whispered through tears because you had no

idea what else to do. All the moments you said, "Lord, I don't

know how I'm going to get through this." Yet here you are. Still

breathing. Still standing. Still being held. Maybe you did not get

through those seasons because you were strong enough.

Maybe you got through them because God never let go of you.

So tonight, let your tired heart rest. You do not have to  know

how everything will work out. You do not have to carry tomorrow

before it even arrives. The same God who met you at your

lowest, heard the prayers you could barely speak, and made a

way when you could not see one is still with you. You have cried

enough, over what you cannot control. Give it to Him now. God

has never failed you, and He is not going to start with you.
