Maybe you're in a
Leah season.
(Genesis 29:31-35)
Leah knew the ache of being near
someone, yet never feeling chosen. She
was overlooked, unwanted, and unloved.
Yet God saw her.
Maybe you've spent years trying to earn
someone's love or approval, hoping they
would finally choose you.
But you don't have to beg to be valued.
The right love won't make you beg to be
chosen.
Sometimes, being unchosen leads you to
the peace of being fully seen by God.
~Mav Coronado
You may have been overlooked by people, bit you were never overlooked by God.
You don't have to chase love, beg to be chosen, or prove your worth.
God sees the parts of you others failed to notice -- and sometimes, what feels like rejection is simply God leading you toward a love that won't make you question your worth.
You are already seen.
You are already loved.
You are already chosen by Him.

Genesis 29:31-35: When the Lord saw that Leah was not loved, he enabled her to conceive, but Rachel remained childless. Leah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Reuben, for she said, "It is because the Lord has seen my misery. Surely my husband will love me now."
She conceived again, and when she gave birth to a son she said, "Because the Lord has heard that I am not loved, He have me this one too." So she named him Simeon.
Again she conceived, and when she gave birth to a son she said, "Now at last my husband will become attached to me, because I have borne him three sons." So he was named Levi.
She conceived again, and when she gave birth to a son she said, "This time I will praise the Lord." So she named him Judah. Then she stopped having children.
