From The Redeemed Marriage

One of the hardest things about rebuilding a

marriage after betrayal is that sometimes the

people around you are more ready to give up on 

your marriage than you are.

We understand why. They love you. They've

watched you hurt. They don't want to see you get

hurt again.

But there came a point when we had to stop

letting other people decide what was possible for

us.

We listened to wise counsel. We set boundaries.

We paid attention to what was actually changing.

But ultimately, we had to decide whether we

believed God was still at work in our story.
