Restoration

The Bible says God will restore the years the locusts have eaten.

But restoration doesn't always mean He gives you the same years back.

Sometimes He restores time by allowing one year of obedience to produce what ten years of struggle could not.

He sends the right people.

He opens the right doors.

He gives you the wisdom that your pain cost you.

Then suddenly, the years that looked wasted begin working together for your good.

You may have lost time, but you did not lose purpose.

God knows how to put so much fruit on what remains that you stop grieving what is gone.

You cannot return to yesterday.

But when God touches tomorrow, you will understand that time was never stronger than His promise.

"I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten."  ~Joel 2:25
