Tired

 A prayer for April

GOD, I'M TIRED

I'm tired of pretending to be strong

when I'm not. I'm tired of carrying

things I was never meant to carry.

Some days, I feel like I'm falling apart

on the inside.

But You, God...You never left me.

Even when I didn't feel You, You were

there. Even when I doubted You, You 

stayed.

God, I'm asking for Your presence.

Remind me that because You're within 

me, I will not fail.
