Separation

 by Patrice Warren

There are moments when a separation happens
that you didn't expect, and it leaves you confused
about what went wrong. You may feel like
something meaningful was lost, but sometimes
distance is not rejection - it is preparation. What
feels like an ending can actually be a necessary
pause to allow growth, clarity, and change to take
place.

As time passes, you begin to understand that both
people may need to grow individually before
coming back together the right way. Separation
can reveal what was missing, what needs healing,
and what must be strengthened before anything
can truly last. It creates space for maturity, deeper
understanding, and a stronger foundation that
wasn't there before.

In the end, you are reminded to trust the process,
even when it doesn't make sense in the moment. If
something is truly meant, it will return in a
healthier, more aligned way. What is delayed is not
always denied, and sometimes the space in
between is exactly what prepares both of you for
something real and lasting.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
