Angel: She did everything right. Why did you close the door?
God: Because doing everything right doesn't mean it was right for her.
Angel: But she worked so hard. She prayed. She waited. She trusted you.
God: I know. And I'm so proud of her for that. But just because she was faithful doesn't mean that path was mine for her. Sometimes I close doors not because you failed, but because I'm saving you from something you can't see yet.
Angel: She thinks she did something wrong.
God: She didn't. She did everything I asked. But what she was asking for wasn't what I had planned. And one day, she's going to look back and realize that closed door was the kindest thing I ever did for her.
Angel: When will she understand?
God: Soon. When the right door opens, she'll see why this one had to close. And she'll be grateful I loved her enough to say no.
