What a grieving mother needs

This was shared by Luminous Light Studio from a page called Four Plus an Angel by Jessica Watson

What a grieving mother needs...

She needs to say her child's name without bringing everyone to tears.

She needs her child's life to be included in the count of children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She needs kindness on birthdays and understanding on holidays.

She needs to stay in bed and a reason to get out of it.

She needs to talk endlessly and to let the phone ring.

She needs an extra hug and respect for her space.

She needs someone to ask how she's doing and want to know the real answer.

She needs careful announcements of pregnancies, baby showers and births, hers may not have turned out as she hoped.

She needs a "handle with care" sticker for her heart, her emotions have been fragile since the day she said goodbye.

She needs patience and reminders, part of her mind will always be somewhere else.

She needs forgiveness for not being the friend, sister, daughter and wife she used to be.

But more than anything, she needs you...your support, your friendship, your understanding...
a lifetime is an impossibly long time to wait to hold her child again.
