Reason

I went to the cemetery on Friday night. I hadn't been there for a while. It was a mess-I felt bad. I took down the summer/4th of July stuff and put up some fall decorations and cleaned everything up.

On your Oscar that Jake got you for people to write on, I initially wrote Best (now I can't remember what I first wrote). Anyway, I changed it to "Reason".

Today on my Pandora, a song came on that has never come on before. It was by Pink but it's the song she sings with the lead singer of Fun, who always makes me think of you. The name of the song is "Just Give Me a Reason."

Sometimes I wonder if I make up these connections in my head. But I would like to think that you knew that I wrote that on your statue and tied it to the song to let me know you're here. Thank you for that. If you know what I wrote initially, please help me remember. Love you!

Also, two more things from over the weekend: Dad was watching football, and there was a player they were talking about named D.J. Hayden. They kept referring to him by his last name, Hayden, of course.

The second thing is, I was looking up the song "Boys of Summer" to send to K. I was having a hard time finding a video to send because everything was all blocked. One of the versions was posted was by a group or person named "Burnin' Hayden." :)
