She hides

she is a beautiful soul,

but if you met her

you wouldn't know

for her walls are high

and keep her beauty deep inside,

hiding her face from a world

that did nothing

but lie.

it sold her dreams

and made her believe

that they could all

become a reality,

only to find out

it wasn't meant to be,

and now,

she hides her beauty

for no one to see.
