Here is more of what I posted on Facebook before I shared your paper on Self-Definition.
October 18, 2017: Twenty years ago today, not only was this beautiful boy born but a new mom was "born" along with him. I can honestly say it is now and always will be my favorite role. I am eternally grateful to God for what He has given me.
I came across the following Self-Definition Assignment that Hayden had written for his Senior Capstone Class dated September 9, 2014. The assignment was to "Define yourself-we want to know where you've been, who you are, and where you want to go." Some things changed since he wrote this-for example he decided he wanted to stay around his family instead of moving to L.A., but I hope it gives you more of an idea of who he was. I hope he wouldn't mind me sharing this. I love and miss you every day Hayden Smith!
