I sent Susie Fay a message on Facebook yesterday because I saw an article about a guardian angel at an accident scene. I told her those kinds of articles always remind me of her and I thanked her again for staying with you until the ambulance came. She responded last night. This is the first I've heard from her since your accident.
I sent her a friend request in September and said thanks then and she accepted my friend request in January. Here is what I said and what she said yesterday (May 3rd):
Me: Hello-This is Andrea Smith, Hayden's mom. I saw an article today about a guardian angel at an accident and those kind of stories always make me think of you. I hope you are doing well. I think of you often and am always grateful that you were there for my son. God used you in a special way that day. Thanks again!
Her response: Hi Andrea I want you to know that I think of you and your family often. I think of Hayden every time I drive down that road. I remember my hand on his back and Telling him it was going to be alright. I will be 60 years old this Year, my life is Winding down, this life is short, I want to be an example that your son was, the role model of a Godly person. You must be a great mother and woman to have raised a son like Hayden ! Have a blessed Mothers day. Susan
