From Heather Lea Poetry
FRUSTRATED ANGEL
She's tutting up in heaven as you choose to stay again,
She's cussing as you're rushing, wishing you would stop and sway.
She's patient but you're vacant, you're lost within a need
So she's hanging, but she's banging on the clouds to make you see.
She's fiery when she wants to be, so watch out for the heat;
She's gentle, but will burn your butt to get you off your seat!
Don't think that you are all alone when towers fall to the ground
For she's the one that kicks the walls to make them tumble down.
Just learn to live life with her, start listening to her call,
For every time you block her sound you know the tower falls.
Start to look up to the clouds and call her with your mind,
You've never been alone, she was always there to find.
She's not the perfect angel, this task frustrates her so,
And sometimes she can also make mistakes, this truth she knows,
So she's watching you be human, and though she sees your wings,
She's learning as she's waiting, for she too is practicing.
So show her how we humans are born to make mistakes,
Show her how we find our strength from every heart that breaks.
Show her how we give our love to every imperfection,
And let the angel see that was always the intention,
For angels have such high regard for humans, but to be
We have to face this life, this now; our reality.
Nothing happens quickly, this life's about the path,
We must be strong to look to skies with no weight on our back.
Don't fall because you failed, fail because you chose
To give with all your heart, accept a human flaw,
Sure we can be angels, feel wings so true and free
But maybe we are here to teach the angels how to be.
