No matter how much I pray for people
or how badly I want to pull them in to my peace,
I find myself fearful.
I'm fearful that if I open my life, love, and loyalty
to them again, they will unknowingly
drag me into their drama
and bring a level of distraction
that I am no longer willing to entertain.
