Don't worry,
she won't seek you out again, or insist, or demand
explanations. She won't beg you again, or take
away your peace. And it's not because she no
longer feels anything, or because she's erased
you from her heart. It's because she understood,
with a broken soul, that it was you who didn't want
a place for her in your life. She understood that
staying there meant making you feel too important
and her too small. And she decided to let go, not
for lack of love, but for self-love. Because no
woman deserves to feel miserable for someone
who didn't know how to value her.
