Uncertainty

It is better for a child to have a parent who has peace with uncertainty, than a parent with rigidity of doctrine masking a plethora of anxieties.

This "rigidity of doctrine does the following:

1. Creates heavy codependent burdens that destroy people's lives.
2. Brainwashes people to see God as small and abusive.
3. Strips away mystery and beauty and love.
4. Stops people from learning.
5. Foments shame and hate.
6. Builds an ILLUSION inside us that we are always in danger of losing (or have already lost) connection with our Creator.
