She appears to be strong
And she really is very strong
But don't think for a second that there isn't a
tsunami of heartache and loss that swim
through her cells. Her eyes are filled with
pools of "what ifs" and "why me" in so many
languages. Yet then she remembers that life
is a tapestry of colors, and nobody gets out
without having the shade black painted
against their canvas. She picks up her
brush and decides to pain her masterpiece.
