Gratitude

Why does it still hurt?

"Because it mattered."

When will it stop aching?

"Love doesn't dissolve, 

it just changes shape

and some of those

shapes have sharp edges."

So, never?

"No. But someday the ache

will soften. And then 

you'll call it by a

kinder name."
