Angels

I have heard many tales of angels, but my favorite one is about those that have tucked their wings away.

Those with closed minds and hearts cannot recognize them, because they are people like you and I.

The fallen, the scarred, and yet still so full of strength and love.

They are the givers, the unconditional lovers, and this world will never be their home.

They are the outsiders, the freaks, the loners, the ones who get overlooked.

They are the trampled, the abused, the lost, and the lonely; and if you are so fortunate to befriend one of these angels, I suggest you never let them go.
