I have heard many tales of angels, but my favorite one is about those that have tucked their wings away.

Or to give your all. It is sad that 1 out of a hundred will go out of their way to help someone else. The society we live in is all about self. Feel good, do what makes you happy, go to church where you get entertained. It's sickening. Most people don't understand how to put God first. Just put yourself last. The Lord said the greatest among you shall serve the most. We serve God by serving others.

One problem with good people is that they are always ready to adjust more to make others happy. They love being selfless. They would rather kill their expectations than to hurt someone. And they do it so many times that it becomes their second nature. And everyone starts to expect the same from them, every single time. And whenever they demand even a little adjustment from others, they are judged rude and arrogant. This is the problem of people with a pure soul in this soulless world. They treat people as if they too have a good heart. But do they? They will make you bend, and bend more, and bend even more until you break your back and spirit. The only solution is to say no, the very first time. Have some rules. Don't allow anyone to break them. Don't adjust. Don't allow them to emotionally manipulate you either by sweet talk or by tears. It's at trap. You are just too pure to notice their games.

It's not always about a lover or someone really close. You adjust too much with too many people, And then, even a random person can walk away after taking advantage of you. You realize this later. And after a brief moment of frustration, you smile it off. You think of yourself as a hero of a movie. But in reality, you are an A-grade idiot. Life has only finite moments. You have a limited emotional strength within you. For how long will you kill your own desires, your own expectations? For how long will you keep living for their smile while suffering tears? For how long will you say, "hmm it's okay?" It's not okay. Listen. You have been fooled by too many people, too often. This lollipop of "good heart" won't give you anything in life. You have to fight for your happiness. You need to be smart in your help, efforts, and adjustments. You need to say no when your soul whispers that this is not good. You need to be ready to be called arrogant, selfish, and bad for asking respect. That's how the world is. People keep pushing the good person more and more because that good person doesn't complain. But inside, the good person keeps dying. Don't die. Live. Change. Change, my friend.

Everything you have

Please don't give everything you have away to someone who constantly isn't reciprocating the same way. I know it's the hardest thing in the world to not give when you're a giver. But it becomes draining and hurtful when you start to recognize the ones who only take advantage of your offerings.

And I hope that once you're able to see it in plain sight, you choose to tear yourself away, detaching your heart and soul from the root of its hold. From the need to keep giving anyway, because maybe, just maybe it would somehow make a difference even though you know good and well, it won't. the barren, empty aching,

the unanswered prayers,

the sleepless nights

when their breath is crushed

under the weight of silence

and all that it means.

Somehow, some survive all that and,

like a flower opening up after a storm,

they slowly begin to remember

the one they lost

in a different way...

The laughter,

the irrepressible spirit,

the generous heart,

the way their smile made them feel,

the encouragement they gave

even as their own dreams were dying.

And in time, they fill the pit

with other memories

the only memories that really matter.

We will still cry.

But with loving reflection

in death. And you think they are NOT anymore.

So if your dead are gone, where are they?

Yes they have left, or they are now in another place. Is that place better than this?

Yes, definitely that place is better than this; so why do you suffer for their departure?

When you have finished accepting that they are no longer "NOT here", but they are still in another place better than this, where they are they are no longer sick or suffering.

Then you'll stop mourning them and you'll get them back in memory so they keep accompanying you with the joy of all that you've lived.

If you truly loved them, LOVE them AGAIN, and this time with greater strength, with greater purity, with greater delivery.

Today, there will be no more reproach of any kind.

Only LOVE, will be the essence between you, between us, between them.

I respect your pain, and the way you express it. I know you cry and you will cry without comfort.
