Trust

When I say I need to trust you, I don't just mean trust that you will be faithful.

I need to trust you will listen to me when I need to repeat things over and over to process them. 

Trust that you will keep my heart safe.

Trust that you will honour our truth and keep an open heart. 

Trust that you won't run away when things get tough.

Trust that you will hold me tighter on the nights I feel the weight of the world.

Trust that you will let me wander in the depths of my own mind when I need space.

Trust that you will ride the waves of my contradictions without judgment.

Trust that you will see beauty in my scars and love me more for each of them.
