To The One Who Put Up Walls

I wish you'd borrow my heart

so you would know

how much space you take up.

I wish you'd borrow my eyes,

so you would see what I see

every time you ask me why you?

I wish we could have a chance

to exchange our minds

so I would know why

you're too afraid to fall so hard.

I wish you could have the chance

to own my soul so you would know

how it longs to be with you.

I wish one day you'd stop

putting up walls on yourself

and let me win your heart -

- once and for all.

I wish you would have the courage

to open your heart and let me in.

For that's the only way I'd be able

to let you know that we could be

missing something so real

if we'll not be able

to free ourselves and choose -

- to love again.
