There will be those who love you recklessly. Their love will strip off your confidence, your warmth and your soft edges until there is nothing but regret and scars that will take a lifetime to heal. There will be those who love you selflessly. Their love will make you smile and laugh, and their presence will always fill you with bliss. And you will try and try but your heart won't beat for them, and one day you will walk away from them so they can find the love that they deserve. There will be those that love you half-heartedly. Their love will only reach you in chunks of friendship and kind gestures but--for them--you won't be the one. And you will have to let them go, no matter how much you want them to stay because, this time--you will need to find the love that you deserve. And then, there will be them. The one who will love you fiercely, but without any expectation. The one who will become your best friend, and your companion. They will feel like sunlight during spring, and they will show you how effortless love is. And you--you will love them back with your whole soul. You will breeze through life with their hand in yours and huge smiles on your faces, and love burning in both your hearts. And you will realize that this is what love should be. This is what love was always supposed to be.
