Surprised

Psalm 18:16-19
But me He caught-reached all the way from sky to sea;
He pulled me out of that ocean (of despair),
that enemy chaos,
the void in which I was drowning.
They hit me when I was down,
but God stuck by me.
He stood me up on a wide-open field;
I stood there saved - surprised to be loved!

NKJV:
He sent from above, He took me;
He drew me out of many waters.
He delivered me from my strong enemy,
From those who hated me,
For they were too strong for me.
They confronted me in the day of my calamity,
But the Lord was my support.
He also brought me into a broad place;
He delivered me because He delighted in me.
